The last 2 days have been an amaizing, positive, supportive conference with women from everywhere with all kinds of insight, suggestions and help to each of us. Yesterday was my first time participating in NextGen, a program for young girls interested in science, technology, math as a career. The girls I took already told me that they all want to go next year! It was neat to hear Facebook Director of Engineering, Jocelyn Goldfein speak with the high school students.
Here is a picture of some of the students, all participating in the www.witi.com NextGen program http://www.witi.com/center/conferences/2011/summit/nextgen.php -

Nice to meet so many great, inspiring, intelligent, caring women.
Too many speakers to note. But how about that speaker from the World Cafe?? (Saw her, Anne Adams, Ph.D. the last 2 years, she was my favorite, esp. how we all learn to REALLY communicate, meet, get things done, learn how to work together. Didnt get to see her this year but loved how we would get up, mingle, be in small tables of 4, perfect, and just really learn from each other, and have such great questions and answers to common issues we all face each day). And the lady from the UK that is ready to conquer the world? Cindy Gallop
